These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NeonDrama, the short-drama mini application operated by NOVASTORY ANIMATION MEDIA LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our"), based in Hong Kong. Read them together with the NeonDrama Privacy Policy.
By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Any rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law continue to apply.
1. Our service
NeonDrama offers episodic short-drama viewing through TikTok Minis. Available dramas, episodes, languages, and features may vary by region, content rights, platform availability, and application version. We do not promise that every title or episode will remain available indefinitely.
You need a compatible device, access to TikTok, and an internet connection. Your network provider may charge for data usage. TikTok's platform terms also apply to your use of TikTok.
2. Eligibility and platform access
You must meet TikTok's age requirements and any other eligibility requirements applicable to your region and the content you access. If you have not reached the age at which you can independently agree to these Terms, obtain permission from a parent or guardian where required by law.
Access and any platform login are provided through TikTok. We do not create a separate password-based account for you in the mini application. Keep your TikTok account secure and do not share platform login codes or passwords with others.
3. Permission to use the service
Subject to these Terms and any applicable content restrictions, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the service for lawful, non-commercial viewing. This permission does not transfer ownership of software, dramas, artwork, or other content to you.
Rights in content remain with the relevant owners or licensors. Except where permitted by applicable law or with the necessary authorization, you must not copy, distribute, publicly perform, resell, or create derivative works from the service or its content.
4. Advertising and rewarded access
The current service is supported by advertising. It does not offer paid subscriptions, coin purchases, or paid memberships. Some episodes or stages of an episode may require a completed rewarded advertisement. Interstitial advertisements may also appear during use of the service.
The viewing link or in-application experience may specify the episode from which rewarded access starts and the playback positions at which further advertisements are required. The displayed rule applies to that viewing experience.
Access is granted after the application receives the relevant successful completion callback. If you cancel the advertisement, it fails, or completion cannot be confirmed, the relevant content stays locked. Advertisement availability depends on the platform, region, network, and advertising inventory; access to rewarded content cannot be guaranteed when no advertisement is available.
Unlock records are saved in local device storage. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for money. Clearing storage, changing devices, or using a different viewing policy can affect the unlocks available to you. We do not promise permanent or cross-device access based on a local unlock record.
5. Acceptable use
When using the service, you must not:
- Violate applicable law or infringe another person's intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights.
- Bypass access restrictions, falsify advertisement completion, or manipulate reward and usage records.
- Introduce malicious software, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Use automated tools to extract content or overload the service without permission.
- Reverse engineer or circumvent protection measures except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
6. TikTok and third-party services
TikTok provides the host platform and advertising interfaces. Advertisements and external destinations may be provided by third parties under their own terms. Inclusion of an advertisement does not mean that we endorse every claim made by an advertiser.
Use your own judgment before following external links or providing information to third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes any responsibility that we must retain under applicable law.
7. Privacy and local records
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process platform identifiers, usage events, diagnostic information, and enquiries, and how to make privacy requests.
Viewing progress, reward rules, language settings, and unlock records are stored locally on your device. These records may be lost when you clear application or browser data or when the platform removes that storage. Contact us about deletion of server-side information; deleting local records alone does not remove information already processed by our service.
8. Changes, availability, and suspension
We may change features, adjust the catalogue, or temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, security, content-rights requirements, or other operational reasons. We will provide notice where required by law.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these Terms, a security issue, or a legal requirement. You may stop using the service at any time. For concerns about an access restriction, contact us using the details below.
9. Responsibility and limitations
We aim to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted, error-free playback and continuous advertisement availability cannot be guaranteed. Network conditions, device compatibility, the TikTok host, and third-party services can affect performance.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis without additional guarantees beyond those stated in these Terms. We do not exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Support and content complaints
For support, access concerns, or an intellectual-property complaint, email dramaemma.dev@outlook.com. Identify NeonDrama, describe the issue, and include enough information to locate any relevant title or episode. For a rights complaint, explain the right you hold and the material you believe infringes it.
We may request relevant supporting information and will consider complaints in accordance with applicable law. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service or applicable requirements. We will publish the updated Terms and effective date on this page, and provide additional notice where required. If you do not agree to an update, you can stop using the service before it takes effect.
12. Applicable rights and disputes
Contact us first so that we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer protection, right to complain to a regulator, or right to bring proceedings before a court available to you under applicable law.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These Terms apply to NeonDrama and do not change your agreement with TikTok.
